Lay out all the contents of
the bag. You should have the following: 1) Main Body Bolt; 2)
Arrow Holding Plates w/ gasket seals;
and 4) Machined Nuts. Note: The rivet bead
side of the Arrow Holding Plate is placed onto the Main Body Bolt with the
rivet beads
facing up.
Step 1: Place 1 Machined Nut
onto top of Main Body Bolt and place it about 1 inch from bottom of hole.
Step 2: Place Main Body Bolt through center of
Arrow Holding Plate and position against bottom of Machined Nut, be sure you
have
Arrow Holding Plate rivet heads facing up.
Step 3: Position second Machined Nut aginst
bottom of arrow Holding Plate, and tighten at this time.
Step 4: Position third Machined Nut 4 1/2 inches
from bottom of second nut.
Step 5: Place Main Body Bolt through center of
second Arrow Holding Plate and position against bottom of the third Machined
Nut,
be sure you have Arrow Holding Plate rivet heads facing up.
Step 6: Position fourth Machined Nut against
bottom of second Arrow Holding Plate, rotate bottom plate until each hole
lines up with
top plate holes and tighten.
Gasket
Replacement
To
replace gasket: Drill out rivets from plate, using a 1/8 inch drill
bit. Separate plates and replace gasket. Rivet plates back
together using 1/8 inch by 1/4 inch rivets. Note: Larger rivets
may be required if rivet holes are elongated during drilling or an oversized
drill bit is used.
